After having a great year snaring spam, our focus now is to provide the same efficiency and effectiveness of the enterprise class Interceptor to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs). Entering the new market compelled us to concentrate on making the appliance easily affordable for SMBs without actually compromising the effectiveness of the device. Having said that, entering the
BizTech Expo was a way for us to show SMBs that we can fix their spam issues for way cheaper than what our competitors cost combined with higher capture rates. We're glad to have shared our business information with
Business Report
and they wrote the following in their latest issue of the
Daily Report:
"Another IT exhibitor brings good tidings for local companies who want big business technology without the big business price. Espion, an e-mail security research and development firm with Forune 500 clients here and abroad, plans to debut its Interceptor 250.
The Interceptor 250 is an IT appliance that secures the e-mail gateway, eliminated spam and frees up IT resources. It recognizes and encrypts confidential information and monitors inbound and outbound e-mail security. "Several of the larger hospitals and businesses here use our products," says Derek Tircuit, Business Development Manager for Espion, "but until now, encryption has been out of reach for a lot of our local people. Now we have a product that is a lot more affordable, so small- and medium-sized businesses can benefit from this technology. Our focus at the Expo is to try to bring this technology back home a little bit. We feel this is a good opportunity to reach some of those businesses."
