So I was browsing the web for some
information on an electronic component for one of the projects I am
working on, and I came across Bill Shackelford's blog. Bill has come
up with quite an interesting and weird way of dealing with his spam. "SpamTrap" as he calls it receives the spam email that he gets. It then
prints the email on REAL paper and immediately shreds the paper.
Treehuggers might go totally bonkers on this one, however he is using
100% recycled paper. Take a look at his SpamTrap, on the webpage there
is a video of it working as well..

He didn't just stop there, he took it a step further. Him and
some of his buddies made another model called SPAMshredder, Which
according to his website.
"SPAMshredder is a collaboration
between Ulf Schmidt, Uwe Jakob, Dirk Neugebauer and myself. In a
similar fashion as Spamtrap, SPAMshredder prints and shreds spam
email. SPAMshredder is different in that people forward spam email
from their inbox to the SPAMshredder and can then watch a live video
stream of their spam email being destroyed."
Great, now you can take part in this ritual as well. You can take out your
frustration of dealing with spam (which should not be a problem if
you have an "Interceptor" which eliminates over 99% of it), by sending email there. There is a live feed of the machine in the website now. You can send it a
spam and watch it shred.

I have to give it to him, his construction is A+ for the design of this
machine. If you really do get some satisfaction out of watching spam
email shredded, go ahead give it a try.
