Welcome to the newsletter!
We’ve decided that the greatest customers in the world (that’s you) should be kept up to date with the latest developments from us. We’ll send out little notes like this periodically to keep you up to date on what’s happening with us, and with your Interceptor. Of course, if you’d rather not receive these from us, just email or call us, and we’ll remove your address.
Thank you from your friends @ Espion
We know you’ve been telling all your friends about how great the Interceptor is. Now, we’re going to reward you for it! That’s right. Any referral you make to Espion that results in your colleague

| purchasing a unit will earn you up to $150 delivered in an American Express Rewards card. Purchases of the i250 or 500 earn $100, the i1000 or larger models earn $150. If your company doesn’t allow such benefits, don’t worry, and don’t let that stop you from referring friends and colleagues—instead of sending the card to you, we’ll make a donation in the amount earned to the charity of your choice. Either way, it’s a win-win situation. Your friend will appreciate having their time back, instead of wading through junk mail. And we’ll reward you for the referral. It’s our way of saying “Thank you” for what you’ve already been doing! |

Are you up to date? The support guys tell us that several customers have called in recently with issues of image based spam. If you’re still getting image based spam, you’re software is out of date! Login to the Interceptor’s interface and check the version on the top left corner of the web page. To check if updates are available, please navigate to SupportàSystem Updates. If your version is not the same as the ones listed below, please give Support a call or email support@espionintl.com letting them know you need the update. The latest update for I2 is 2.3.8, and the latest version for I3 is 3.04. Of course, if you need help getting this done, just call the support line at 1-866-ESP-INTL, and a Counterhacktivist will walk you through the process.
PDF Based Spam Speaking of updates, the next release will include enhanced PDF based spam support. Currently, the Interceptor catches about 60% of these based on the AI engine’s rules about where the mail came from, and to whom it was addressed. The next update will allow the Interceptor to actually open the PDF and evaluate it’s contents.
What’s all this Counterhacktivism stuff?
Ever wondered what “Counterhacktivism” means? It’s a term we’ve coined to describe what our support analysts and the AI powered Network Operations Center do to proactively identify threats before they attack your system.
